The Middle East is home to countless talented women artists whose brilliance often goes unrecognised in the global art market. MARTEX Road, short for Middle East Art Experiences Road, is passionately committed to changing that narrative. We are dedicated to promoting emerging and professional women artists across the region, providing them with the platform and opportunities they deserve on the international art stage.
Our journey began with a strategic partnership with BAAT Art & Culture Institution (Persian for For Your Future), an independent organisation based in Tehran. BAAT currently collaborates with over 300 Iranian women painters, showcasing the remarkable creativity and diversity of female artists in the region.
At MARTEX, we proudly open our arms to all women artists from Middle Eastern countries. Together, we aspire to drive the development of art in this vibrant and historically rich part of the world. We firmly believe that art is more than an expression — it’s a tool for promoting humanity, justice, peace, and love.
Our vision is bold, but it’s also necessary. By amplifying the voices and artworks of Middle Eastern women, we hope to inspire global appreciation and understanding. This mission thrives on collaboration, and we warmly invite art activists, enthusiasts, and professionals worldwide to join us in this meaningful endeavour.
